Bolivia severed diplomatic relations with Israel to protest the attacks in the Gaza Strip against the Islamist group Hamas, announced on Wednesday the president of the Andean nation, Evo Morales.
"I want to inform you that Bolivia had diplomatic relations with Israel. (But) against these serious acts of violence to life and humanity, Bolivia broke diplomatic relations with Israel, "said indigenous leader of the left.
Morales made the announcement in a speech to the diplomatic corps at the Government Palace.
